Brandy Meyer
Receptionist/Dental Assistant
Brandy graduated from Lake High School and attended Northwestern Dental Academy for Dental Assisting. She has been working in the Dental field since 2009. She has done chair-side assisting, hygiene assisting in the past. She is now working with Insurance, answering phones and greeting patients here at Spring Valley Dental. She takes pride in what she does. In her free time she enjoys volleyball, softball and spending time with her friends and family. She has three boys, Drew, Cody and Dalton. She also has 1 fur baby named Diesel and an amazing husband.
Michelle Wright
Office Manager
Michelle has been in the dental field since 1984. She has been with Spring Valley Dental since 1991. She is happy to answer your questions, plan for appointments, help resolve concerns and make your visits positive. She loves the energy of our team that shares her primary goal which is to help you!
She and her husband Jim have four children and six grandchildren. Michelle enjoys spending time with her family by the pool or taking her French Bulldogs Izzy and Rylee for walks.
Kathryn Bowlby
Insurance Coordinator
Born and raised in California, Kathryn moved to Maumee, Ohio in 2001. She has been part of the Spring Valley Dental team since 2007. Kathryn has been in the dental field since 1999, starting as a certified dental assistant and eventually transitioning to insurance coordinator. When not at work, Kathryn enjoys spending every minute with her two beautiful daughters.
Nicole Gorsuch
Dental Hygienist
Nicole has been a registered dental hygienist since 2009. She has been a part of the Spring Valley Dental team since 2011. In addition to being a hygienist, Nicole is also a licensed expanded function dental auxiliary.
She is passionate about delivering quality care while maintaining a friendly and comfortable environment. She strives to always be a very thorough, yet gentle hygienist. When not working, Nicole loves to cook and spend time with her family. She attended culinary school and enjoys making new creative meals for them.
Lori Miller
Dental Hygienist
Lori earned her degree in Applied Science, Registered Dental Hygienist, at Owens Community College in 2016. Lori has the ability to administer local anesthetic and nitrous oxide sedation to patients along with working independently.
Lori is very passionate about providing the best oral care while being gentle but thorough when treating her patients. Lori strives to stay current on her dental knowledge to continue to improve her craft. Her favorite thing about being a Registered Dental Hygienist is helping her patients become knowledgeable in their oral hygiene and meeting each patient’s need individually. Outside of work Lori enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 sons, and 2 daughters, and vacationing to her condo in Florida as often as possible.
Heather Compton
Dental Hygienist
Heather graduated from Owens Community College in 2019 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She is eager to learn and grow as a hygienist while helping people achieve the healthy smile they desire. She lives in Toledo with her soon-to-be husband and their two cats.
In her spare time, she enjoys camping and spending time with friends and family.
Karen Burkhart
Dental Assistant
Karen Burkhart has been a Dental Assistant here at Spring Valley Dental since 2015. She received her training in the United States Army as a dental specialist. After many years of working in the dental field, she recently went back to become a certified dental assistant. She brings to the team a positive attitude and a desire to learn new skills.
Shelly Rapke
Dental Assistant - EFDA
Shelly has been an Assistant since 1988 and received her Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary Certificate from Case Western Reserve University in 2006. Shelly enjoys spending time with her significant other, Doug and their two dogs J.C. and Little man. In her spare time she enjoys photography, gardening and golf.
Chelsea Floro
Dental Assistant - EFDA
Chelsea began her career in the dental field attending Stautzenberger College of Dental Assisting in 2013. She completed her EFDA training at Owens Community College in 2017. She thoroughly enjoys helping patients through quality restorations. Chelsea grew up in Woodville, Ohio and currently resides in Elmore, Ohio with her husband and 2 daughters.
Natalia DiTerlizzi
Receptionist
Natalia joined the office in 2021 working as a receptionist. She plans on pursuing her career as a dental hygienist and continuing to work for Dr. DiTerlizzi. Working here at such a young age allows her to see the inside of the job and give her a head start with all the terminology that will come within the hygiene program. In her free time, Natalia loves to play volleyball and basketball with her friends and family. Natalia's favorite part of working here is the positive atmosphere!
Tabitha Wood
Dental Assistant-EFDA
Tabitha received her Ohio Dental Assisting certification and dental x-ray training at Penta County Vocational School. Additionally, she holds an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary license from Owens Community College. She has enjoyed her career as a dental assistant for the past 23 years. When she is not at work she spends her time with her 19 year old daughter. She also enjoys traveling, crocheting, and doing other arts and crafts.
Jazmine Walker
Dental Assistant
Jazmine graduated from Stautzenberger College -Maumee in 2021. She currently lives in Toledo where she spends most of her time with family, friends and her beloved dog, Bella. In her free time she enjoys road trips, sporting events and trying out new things. Being in the dental field, meeting new people and helping others be confident in their smiles is just an added bonus.
Holly Blackford
Dental Hygienist
Holly has been with Spring Valley Dental since the spring of 2023. She is a Toledo native and graduated from Owens Community College with an associate's degree in Dental Hygiene in 2007. Holly's hobbies include hiking, kayaking, bird watching, and personal fitness.
Juliana Cessna
Receptionist
Juliana is not only new to Spring Valley Dental but new to the Dental field in 2023. She has enjoyed learning about all of the different aspects of the dental office. She has been enlisted in the Air National Guard since 2015. She enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her 2 dogs.
Jessica Hunter
Receptionist
Jessica proudly joined Spring Valley Dental because she wanted to work in a family-oriented dental practice. She not only feels it is important that the staff feels like family, but that it is our top priority to make the patients feel like family as well. She has been in the dental field since 2014. With her passion for health and wellness, you can probably find her in the gym in her spare time. Jessica looks forward to working with you and giving you a great experience.
